A Weekend of Fun (Outside)

Happy Friday, everyone! Spring has finally sprung in Minnesota! The birds are chirping, the snow is melting (finally), the buds on the trees are swelling, and the sun is warm and energizing. It is supposed to be 53 degrees here today – so you better believe we’ll be outside enjoying this spring weather!

This weekend, we’ll spend time with our family for Easter. We’re still extremely cautious around people, but Jax did such a great job at his last party, that we think he’ll do fine this time, too. We’ll have an egg hunt and pinata for the kids and the adults always come up with some sort of fun competition. One year we had a jump rope contest, another year we had a leg wrestling contest. Who knows what we’ll come up with this year!

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor.
