Are You Ready?! Baby Steps 3K Walk (NICU Reunion) Team Details

I can’t believe the Baby Steps 3K Walk is already tomorrow! We are so excited to see all of our doctors and nurses and meet other parents and kids who spent time in the NICU at Children’s.

I love this walk because all the donations go directly to Children’s neonatal programs. So, we’re raising money that will help local families who have children in the hospital. Funds will be used for things such as education for staff and parents, purchasing breast milk for babies whose mothers aren’t able to produce enough for their baby, meals for families, memory items, books, and the purchase of more Kangaroo Chairs.

This walk means so much to us!

If we raise $1000, our team will get a tribute plaque added to the ‘Dedicated to Our Stars’ tribute wall on the Minneapolis campus. We’re only $100 away from this happening! Will you help?

Map of the Fairgrounds

Parking is available in the Giraffe and Midway lots at the State Fairgrounds. (We’re going to plan to park in the Midway lot.) Parking is free.

Due to road closures, please enter the fairgrounds from the west near the U of M – St. Paul campus. From Cleveland Avenue, turn onto Commonwealth Avenue, which becomes Dan Patch Avenue.

Team Jaxson’s Journey will meet at 8:15am at the DNR Building Pond. (This is slightly earlier than we originally planned.) If you are unable to meet the team, please let me know!

I just found out that the event will take team photos! We will walk from the DNR Pond to the team photo station at 8:30. If you have trouble walking, please feel free to meet us as the Team Photo Station (I’m guessing this will be near the registration area). Please let me know if you will meet us at the photo station.

The walk starts at 9:00am.

Team colors are green and white. If you have a Mully Miracle shirt from the benefit, please wear that!
