Splashing Into Summer (The Pool!)

Jax went swimming today! And he had a blast! See for yourself…

And he’s spent…

We had a blast today, which will hopefully help make up for the day tomorrow. Jax is having the video swallow study tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. It won’t hurt him at all. But he will have to swallow some barium so they can see on the X-rays what happens when he’s eating. I think we should know the results right away, but I’m not sure about that.

I’ll be taking the rest of the week off to celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends. I’ll see you on the flip side (next Monday!). Have a fun and relaxing weekend, everyone.

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor.
