Can you believe it? This is the 100th post on the blog! What an amazing journey – thank you for hanging in there with us! Thanks for reading and for being a part of our online “family.” I started this blog as a way to keep our friends and family updated about Jax’s hospital stay…and then it became a place to document his milestones each week, and then it became a place of healing for me…and somewhere along the way, it became a place where other preemie families could come for some hope.
Our humble blog has grown to almost 900 followers. It’s crazy to me that you’re all here. Really, some days, I’m so surprised that you read what I write. It’s your page views and comments that keep me going. I hope you’ll stick around for the next 100 posts, too! I’m guessing that the blog will go through some transformations as time goes on and as Jax gets healthier and healthier. Now that Jax is eating table food, I’d like to add some posts about our garden, local food, and some of our favorite recipes. What do you think about that? Would you keep reading?
Anyway, thanks. Really. I know I say it alot…but that’s because it’s true: we couldn’t have made it through the last year without all of you.
Jax is celebrating our 100th blog post with the following:
- Another severe ear infection (He’s getting tubes on September 23, so hopefully that will help!)
- Two new teeth coming in on the top
- 12-month immunization shots
- Really awesome diarrhea
- A very bad attitude
- Refusing to nap (after being up 4 times last night)
Poor kid. Poor mama. Is it too early to start drinking? (Just kidding. Sort of…no really. Just kidding?)
But our little buddy is still completely awesome. Look what he learned how to do today! My favorite part is the little tongue sticking out in concentration. 🙂 Childproofing has reached a whole new level…
