Jax and I went to our first Early Childhood and Family Education class today!
The first thing he did was make a new friend. It was amazing how they just clicked. They followed each other around, they gave each other a million hugs and kisses. They played together! (Well, ok – they stole toys from each other.) Jax had a huge smile on his face the entire class – he loved his teachers, he loved the songs, he loved playing with other little friends.
I’m not going to lie…I’m tearing up a bit.
I know, I know, it’s not real school. I was in the same classroom the entire time with him. And it was only 1 1/2 hours. But we did sit at the table for parent education while Jax played with the other kids and teachers. He didn’t miss me one bit!
The teacher asked for three word that described Jax. I came up with determined, independent, and hilarious. Also, curious, smart, tenacious, happy, and friendly. I could have gone on forever…but then I would have been that parent! 🙂
We have school each week until cold and flu restriction starts for us again. (Heads up: We will be in lock-down to prevent any illnesses from Dec through March this year.) I know it’s something that Jax is really going to enjoy. And I will, too.
Is it too early to be thinking “Aww…look, my baby is not a baby anymore!!”

Each blog just fascinates me with what you AND Baby Jax are learning, sharing and doing. It is all the right stuff and is so much a part of who he will be in the days that lie ahead. Never stop doing! Love and Friendship to you all…………………….
