Baby Steps 3K: Team Jaxson’s Journey

We’re getting ready for the upcoming Baby Steps 3K walk benefiting the Neonatal Program at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.

Will you join our team and walk with us? Even if you can’t (or don’t want to) fund-raise, we’d still love for you to come walk with us, meet Jax’s care team, and show your support for Jax and all the other babies that have or will someday benefit from care in the NICU.

Baby Steps 3K, Saturday, May 31, 2014 – Minnesota State Fairgrounds Grandstand

  • Join Team Jaxson’s Journey and walk with us.
  • Can’t walk? That’s ok, you can still help! We have a very special project planned in honor of Jax’s upcoming 2nd birthday! We will post details later about how you can help.

Hope to see you at the walk!

Here are some pictures from last year – we had a blast!

The NICU grads. CJ was born with a rare brain malformation called Vein of Galen. After a very scary and rough start, he is now a happy and healthy 6 year old!

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor. We look forward to "meeting" you - come hang out with us...we're pretty cool.

Thanks for hanging out with us! Leave us a comment!
