A North Shore Adventure

We took a little family vacation last weekend to the North Shore of Lake Superior! The fall colors were at their peak and we needed a little break after the week we had. I’ll give more details later, but for now…pictures!

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor. We look forward to "meeting" you - come hang out with us...we're pretty cool.

      1. If you like the wave crashing sounds (and who doesn’t?!) I highly recommend camping at Lamb’s Resort. It’s very affordable (and they have real bathrooms!) and they have campsites that are a few feet away from the rocky shoreline. You can lay in your tent and pretend you’re right by the ocean.

      2. We stayed very close to Lamb’s! We stayed a Temperance Landing – which was a HUGE treat thanks to Steve’s mom. Our whole family went and it was amazing! We were steps away from the water. *ahhhhh*
