Meet Jax a funny, kind, and smart preschooler who was a micro-preemie born at 23 weeks. Now that Jax is older, the scariness of the NICU has faded, but we're still learning how to manage the lasting effects of prematurity including chronic medical issues, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is our story of love, hope, and survival.

A Drumming Prodigy? Well, Maybe

Jax loves music. He sings most of the day. He dances like a maniac when his favorite song comes on the radio.

He also loves to play instruments. Here’s a quick video of his drumming prowess… what do you think? Do we have a young Neil Peart on our hands?

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is!
