Thankful for Rock and Roll (and Other Things)

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! It’s not hard for us to find things to be thankful this year. Jax did not need brain surgery. He did not get admitted to the hospital for breathing issues. He is growing like a weed. His language is exploding (this week’s new words: bathroom, coffee, Kendall (his cousin), pumpkin, turkey, towing (snowing), and Brrr…cold – just to name a few)!

The little dude makes us laugh every day. We are so thankful for his bright eyes and deep belly laughs.

We are also thankful that he is going to make us a million dollars with his drumming skills. 😉 Check this out – he’s graduated to a full drum kit. Kid’s got rhythm.

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor. We look forward to "meeting" you - come hang out with us...we're pretty cool.
