Springtime Fun

Jax started his new daycare and it’s been going well. He is still adjusting, so there have been some huge alligator tears at drop-off. It’s harder on me than it is on Jax and the provider tells me that he stops crying as soon as I pull out of the driveway. (*snif*) It’s been nice to have consistent care and I’ve been able to put a lot of time into my new pottery business.

Of course, Jax caught a cold the first week back at daycare! He’s been handling this sickness fairly well – we have not had to use the oral steroids yet and that’s always a good sign. He has a bad cough, so we’ve been doing nebs three times a day. The medicine affects him a lot and he’s been hyper, hungry, and all around crabby for the past two weeks.

But, spring is here! The birds are chirping and the sun is shining. So, we’ve spent lots of time outside exploring and having fun, too…

Jax’s first ice cream cone! I’d say it was a hit!

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor. We look forward to "meeting" you - come hang out with us...we're pretty cool.
