At the Apple Orchard

Today, we went to the apple orchard where Steve and I got married seven years ago. We go back every year and visit our orchard ceremony site and pick apples.

It’s a blast. Especially going with Jax!
There are tractors and wagon rides, a million apples, and a sunflower maze, so he thinks it’s basically heaven on earth.

The last seven years have not been easy for Steve and I. We know that. So we try to have grace and offer understanding even when things are difficult. It takes a lot of work, but it’s totally worth it.

No doubt about that!

On the way home Jax said “That sure was a great day at the apple sauce, wasn’t it Mommy and Daddy!” It sure was, Little Buck!

Oh man, what an adventure! I went into labor unexpectedly when I was 23w3d pregnant. Jaxson was born weighing 1 lb 8 oz. A tiny little peanut, but boy was he feisty. He still is! We love it now, but we probably won't when he is a teenager. I write about our journey and all other things that come with it, including a brain tumor. We look forward to "meeting" you - come hang out with us...we're pretty cool.
